Our San Jose-based consulting firm is currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Business Writer to join our growing team. As a Business Writer, you will play a vital role in creating clear, concise, and compelling written materials that support our consulting projects and business development initiatives. We require a candidate that thrives on diverse assignments, excels in time management, and possesses exceptional grammatical expertise.

Key Tasks

  • Develop and refine written content for a variety of purposes, including client reports, presentations, proposals, white papers, case studies, and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate closely with our consulting teams to gather information, understand client needs, and translate complex data into easily understandable narratives.
  • Ensure all written content aligns with brand voice, style guidelines, and strategic objectives.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information presented.
  • Edit and proofread written materials to eliminate errors in grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
  • Create and format engaging presentations for diverse audiences, effectively summarizing key findings and recommendations.
  • Adapt writing style and tone to suit different communication channels and target audiences.
  • Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative content ideas and messaging strategies.

Industry Background

  • A minimum of 3 years of documented industry experience in business writing, content development, or a related field.
  • Outstanding proficiency in English grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Deep understanding of business principles, consulting practices, and communication strategies.
  • Ability to analyze complex information, identify key insights, and translate them into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Exceptional research and analytical skills to ensure accuracy and completeness of written materials.
  • Familiarity with design principles to craft visually appealing presentations and reports.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients.
